Australian Pursuit will have a similar start to above but the Masters >30 will start per BC Masters Association rules with 70's first, 6 minutes to 60 yr olds, 5 mins to 50 yr olds, 4 mins to 40 yr olds, 3 mins to 30 yr olds. Women will race with men, 15 yrs their senior.
Event Entry Fee: $20 for BC Masters Association Members, $5 Day License for non-members (Masters Assocation race plate # required)

If you thought 2 x 30.5km laps in the 61 km Golden Roady Circuit race is a breeze, don't forget about the 964m of elevation gain the faux-plats, and scenery on this Eye-of-the-Needle race course. Chasing Australian Pursuit age peletons will be working hard to gap-up to leading age groups up the road and one spin around the new and only round-about in Golden, will give the race that European feel.
Under 30 Years Old & Not a Master? Don't despair, you will receive Kicking Horse Cup Series points allocated to your Licence Category during the Masters Events but will be running in an open category ahead of the Masters so as to not interfere with Masters Series points and racing tactics.
Non-Racers & Recovering from Injury? Come out and try the ambience and feel of a road race, or soft pedal and recover from injury or effort the previous day. The BC Masters Fondo Class is a non-numbered, non-racing category for all ages and will be the first start group in each Road Race.
